Betting rounds

Formulaqq games consist of several betting rounds, where players have the opportunity to bet, call, raise, or fold.

  1. Pre-Flop: Players receive their private cards, and the first round of betting occurs before any community cards are revealed.
  2. Flop: Three community cards are dealt face-up on the table, followed by another round of betting.
  3. Turn: A fourth community card is dealt, and another round of betting takes place.
  4. River: The fifth and final community card is revealed, leading to the last round of betting.

In most poker games, including Texas Hold’em and Omaha, two players are designated to post the small blind and big blind. These forced bets ensure there is action in every hand. The positions of the blinds rotate clockwise after each hand. The player to the left of the button (a marker indicating the nominal dealer) posts the small blind, and the player to the left posts the big blind.
